Title: How Health and Fitness Can Change Your Life

Are you overweight, always tired, and generally unhealthy and unhappy? It

doesn’t have to be that way.

Making a commitment to health and fitness, such as eating better and moving

more, can improve your life in incredible ways.

1. You will feel better

Eating healthier and exercising will help you lose those extra pounds. Your

clothes will fit better – maybe you’ll even need NEW clothes! You’ll also be less

prone to type-2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure and other

chronic diseases. Once you begin moving and exercising, you’ll want to do it even

more – it’s now one of your new healthy habits!

2. You will look better

We are attracted to fit and healthy people. You can try to deny this, but you know

it is true. Take note of the people you’re most attracted to. That girl at the office.

The guy who delivers water. They are attractive because they look fit, healthy

and self-confident. The only person that is stopping you from being like them is

you.

3. You will sleep better

As you become more active and eat healthier foods, you will sleep better. You

will wake up refreshed, motivated and energised – ready to face the challenges of

the day. And when you shed even more weight, you will breathe easier, which

allows for better sleep too.

4. You will stress less

Exercising relieves stress and helps you relax. As the result, you can avoid stress-

eating and binge-eating. If you exercise after work, for example, you are less

likely to bring that pent-up stress and tension home with you. Instead, you will

be a happier, refreshed and invigorated person when you arrive.

5. You will make healthier choices

Once you notice the improvements in your health and fitness, you will be even

more motivated to make better food choices, to learn more about nutrition and

to try new ways of exercise. You will have more energy to go for a 5K run, join a

yoga class or drag that bicycle out of storage. No more hiding at home, plopping

down on the couch and eating garbage non-stop. The new-and- improved you no

longer do those unhealthy things.

6. You will kick other bad habits

The happier-and- healthier you will prefer exercise over cakes, pizzas, cigarettes,

alcohol and late-night parties. You may even reward your accomplishments with

new running shoes, a hi-tech fitness monitor, a gym membership or a personal

trainer.

7. You self-confidence and self-esteem will soar

Now you can stand straighter and walk with more confidence. Who knows you

may also crave for new challenges to tackle. You know what to do to get there –

what are you waiting for?
