It is not really the ability to punch, kick or throw that changes one’s life, but the ability to “fight without really fighting” Thus, Martial Arts Training, whether in Aikido, Muay Thai, Boxing, Bushido, or Karate gives you the discipline to go beyond your current reactive state, and to respond with love, wisdom and patience.

The ins and outs of day to day situations will challenge one’s self-restraint and Martial Arts, besides being a defensive sport, also becomes a way to understand that we are merely observers, rather than conscious actors of the circumstances that transpire around us. Martial Arts enables us to make conscious mindful decisions, instead of just being tossed around like a rudderless boat in a sea of conditioned responses and reactions.
