NDIS Support for Depression & Anxiety
NDIS Support for Individuals with Depression & Anxiety
At Get Going, we support individuals to engage in movement and physical activity as part of a broader approach to health and wellbeing. We recognise that experiences such as anxiety, low mood, or reduced motivation can create barriers to participation, and our supports are designed to help individuals feel safe, supported, and encouraged to remain active.
Our approach focuses on regular, supported participation in physical activity, delivered in a calm, respectful, and person-centred way. Sessions are adapted to the individual and aim to support routine, confidence, and engagement rather than performance or pressure.
Participants may experience benefits such as:
Increased comfort and confidence engaging in physical activity
Improved routine and consistency
Reduced feelings of stress through supported movement
Greater enjoyment of activity and social interaction
Sessions are delivered one-on-one to provide a predictable and supportive environment. Our team offers encouragement, clear guidance, and flexibility, allowing individuals to engage at a pace that feels manageable and appropriate.
We acknowledge that mental wellbeing is complex and highly individual. Our role is not to provide clinical or therapeutic treatment, but to support participation in movement and healthy routines that contribute to overall wellbeing. Where appropriate, sessions may also include general lifestyle support such as encouragement around routine, self-care, and engagement in activities that promote wellbeing, within the scope of NDIS supports.
Our focus is on helping individuals feel supported, capable, and engaged over time, creating positive experiences around movement that can be maintained long-term.

We work with hundreds of NDIS clients with a wide range of conditions
Get Going provides NDIS-funded health and movement-based supports across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, supporting participants with a wide range of needs and abilities.
Our experienced team delivers person-centred, movement-based supports that are adapted to individual preferences, goals, and daily capacity. Sessions focus on supported participation in physical activity, helping participants feel confident, comfortable, and engaged in movement in a way that suits them.
We work with participants who experience mobility, coordination, or neurological challenges by adapting activities and providing clear guidance, encouragement, and consistency. The emphasis is always on accessibility, safety, and positive engagement, rather than performance or outcomes.
Our approach supports routine, confidence, and ongoing participation in movement and everyday activities. We are committed to delivering inclusive, respectful supports that align with NDIS guidelines and individual plans, helping participants remain active and engaged in their communities.
